Bicycling in WI
Bicycles are considered “vehicles” on Wisconsin roadways. That means bicyclists must obey the rules of the road like any other vehicle and must be treated as equal users by all other vehicles. Visit the WI Department of Transportation’s website to learn more about the rules of the road.
Whether you’re riding for transporation or recreation, urban riding or mountain biking, the Bicycle Federation of WI is a great resource!
