You and Your Family

A simple fall can change your life. Just ask any older adult who has fallen and broken a bone.  As we age, changes can occur in our vision, hearing, muscle strength, coordination and balance.  Other factors such as chronic conditions, medication use, home and community environment and even type of shoes can impact balance and cause a fall.
