To eliminate the misuse of alcohol and other drugs in Marathon County through widespread community collaboration, environmental and cultural change, and education.

The Marathon County AOD Partnership Council is a substance abuse prevention coalition with a membership consisting of over 150 individuals and organizations representing area schools, local law enforcement, city and county government, health care professionals, civic and community groups, parents and youth.
The Marathon County AOD Partnership Council has been in existence for decades, but it recently went through a restructuring to combine with other community coalitions working to reduce substance abuse in Marathon County.

Leadership of the Marathon County AOD Partnership Council consists of 15 individuals voted onto the Board of Directors by the entire Council membership. This dedicated group meets regularly to provide guidance and conduct strategic planning to impact substance abuse in Marathon County.
