LIFE Report Released~Unemployment, Alcohol & Other Drug Misuse, Obesity, Child Development, & Basic Needs Lead Top Priorities
In case you missed it…United Way of Marathon County is pleased to announce the release of the 2011-2013LIFE report. This is an excellent resource for local data. Copies are available at the United Way office (137 River Dr, Wausau), or you can download a copy at http://www.unitedwaymc.org/lifereport.htm.
The purpose of the LIFE Report is to:
- Identify community strengths and priorities that help guide and mobilize action to improve life in Marathon County.
- Serve as a resource (a centralized, easily accessible source of data) to nonprofit organizations, policy makers, government entities, faith based organizations, foundations, corporations, and others.
- Be an effective tool in raising awareness in our community on quality of life issues and to monitor trends and underlying causes.
